The Drum Show was founded by Ena Gaffney in 1985 as fundraising event for the Drum RDA. Over the years we have pulled in lots of help from lots of different sources and friends of the Drum, from arena building to finding sponsors and judges. The show is such an important event in our fundraising calendar and it provides us with the vital funds to help keep the RDA services going throughout the year.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the wonderful Drum volunteers and the judges for giving up their time to help and support us. Secondly to all the sponsors of the classes and thirdly to everyone for taking the time and effort to bath, plait and dress up for this competition. Thanks also to Walter and Cindy for doing the catering for all the judges and their stewards as well as our volunteers.

We raised an incredible £6,400 from the event. We simply could not do it without everyone – a big thank you.
