Hello there!

We are so happy to have you here visiting the new Drum RDA website.

Over sixty years ago, Sheila More Nisbett opened the Drum Equine Therapy Centre in a disused barn on her family estate. Ten years later, it became the Drum chapter of the Riding for the Disabled Association when the latter opened its doors.

Upon her death, her son Alan and his wife Patrea became custodians of this important family charity. They are still serving the needs of the RDA community, helped now by their son and daughter-in law, William and Charlotte.

Drum RDA is more than just on our doorstep, it is an integral part of the More Nisbett family. Because we see the benefits and joy it brings the riders on an almost daily basis, we can truly attest to the life-changing power of equine therapy.

We hope you will become part of the Drum RDA family, learn about our horses, get involved in our community, and of course, if you can, donate as generously as you feel moved.
